KYLE HORTON

FOUNDER & CEO
Horton is a Charlotte, NC native. He attended Mallard Creek Highschool where he competed and won 2 State Championships in football, and 4 State Champion Awards plus 1 National Championship in relay in track.
​
Horton went on to play football at Gardner - Webb University from 2015-2019, where he was a 2X All Big-South Wide Receiver and Return Specialist. Horton ranked within the top-20 nationally in punt return average (13th), kickoff return average (7th) and combined return yards (18th) during the 2018 season. Horton also led the Big South in league games with an average of 19.6 yards per catch.
Horton graduated Gardner - Webb University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in December 2018.
RICKY SMITH

PERFORMANCE COACH
Ricky Smith is a Charlotte, N.C native. Ricky grew up very active in Football and Track and Field, capturing National Attention in the Track and Field realm.
Smith is a Mallard Creek Graduate also, where he played football and participated in Track and Field. Ricky also was apart of a State Championship Football and Track team. He was chosen as Mallard Creek High School defensive player of the year in 2015. Smith also, won the state championship in the shot put in 2015 and 2016.

Ricky went on to play football at Lenoir Rhyne University, where he ended up transferring to finish out his football career at Eastern Kentucky University. Smith Graduated with a degree in Human Resource Management.
JAY HORTON

Horton who is the older brother of Kyle, competed in football and track in the Highschool division also. He graduated from Mallard Creek in 2013 and went on to play college football at Ferrum College as a Running Back and Wide Receiver.
Horton finished up his education at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology.

Horton not only has experience working with younger children he has also experience working with professionals. Horton has worked in the Operations department with the Carolina Panthers for the last 6 seasons.

ELIJAH SMALL
FOUNDER & CEO OF RECOVERY1
Elijah Small, a native of Charlotte, N.C., is a dedicated sports recovery specialist with a rich background in football and rehabilitation. He attended Independence High School, where he distinguished himself by earning SW4A All-Conference Football honors each of his four years.
Continuing his football career and academic pursuits at Southern University A&M College, Elijah played football from 2016 to 2020 while earning a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation. His personal experience with football-related injuries provided him with invaluable insights into recovery, motivating him to become a specialist in the field by learning to heal himself.
After graduation, Elijah further honed his expertise in athlete recovery by working at a premier cryogenic center in Atlanta, GA. This role deepened his understanding of advanced recovery technologies, reinforcing his commitment to innovative rehabilitation and recovery methods. Today, Elijah is dedicated to helping others achieve optimal wellness and recovery, drawing on his extensive knowledge and personal experiences.
